The Maryland State Fair is in town and there was magic in the air on Monday night at the Timonium Summer League Championships. Playing in their firsst Maryland Beer Pong league, newcomers National Brohemians enjoyed an undefeated, Cinderella-like run to the finals knocking off third-seeded Silk, second-seeded Rocky & Bullwinkle, and then fourth-seeded We Run This in the winner's bracket finals. After being knocked out of the winner's bracket by We Run This, top-seeded McAllister battled back and exacted their revenge in the loser's bracket finals against Barn Animal and Carty. As the clock struck midnight, however, the glass slipper fell off and McAllister prevailed, winning two straight games in the finals. We Run This finished third, Rocky & Bullwinkle finished fourth, and Silk prevailed over I Cut the Black Guy's Grass in the fifth/sixth-place match.
