| Recap: | The 8th annual Maryland State Beer Pong Championships was held on Saturday at Dark Horse in Canton. It was a familiar venue but with many new faces as 42 teams battled it out to have their names forever etched in the beer pong history books. For only the 2nd time in 8 years, the #1 seed triumphed as The Dog's Bollocks defeated Don't crap out in the finals after a 6-cup rebuttal sent the game to overtime. Third place went to the former state champions McAllister whose only losses came to the finalists. Fourth place honors went to Go Home Squirrel, You're Drunk featuring this year's 1-on-1 State Champion Seth. In the 5th-6th place match-up, a spirited Virginia Beer Pong squad took out the fan favorite Carlton Banks. In the 7th-8th place match, Drama Free upset the heavily favorites Bout to go H.A.M.. | Structure: | Two person teams Tournament seeding will be based on your 2013 Ranking Points will be awarded and go towards the 2013 rankings. Maryland Beer Pong Rules will be used. |

| Prizes: | The winning team will be crowned official Maryland State Champions The winning team will receive free entry into WSOBP VIII in Las Vegas. The package includes a 4 night hotel stay at the Flamingo and entry into the event. Cash prizes for 1st-8th place: TBD Prizes for the top coed team and all-female team. All player will receive an Official State T-shirt (pre-register by 11/26) |
| Eligibility: | Players that have qualified via a State Qualifier or Weekly Tournemant are eligible to play. In-state players that have not qualified can play with a qualified partner. Out-of-state players must have qualified to participate. To see who's available, refer to this list of qualified players. |
