Canton Fall Squad League (2012)

When:	Wednesdays starting September 19th, 2012 and runs through November 14th. League play from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Structure:	Basic Structure: Squads are made up of 6-10 players. Matches between squads take place on 3 tables. Three 2-person teams are formed by the each team captain (1 for each table). A minimum of two females must be playing for each squad at all times. Games between two opposing teams will use MDBP rules. Teams play a best of 3 series against the opposing teams (1 set = 3 series). Three sets are played in each match (1 match = 3 sets = 9 series). New teams are formed each set (no two players can play together more than once a match). Squad with the most series won wins the match. Detailed Structure: Official League Rules
Scoring:	Rankings are determined by number of matches won. Tie-breakers are determined by total number of series won. Team captains are responsible for keeping accurate scorecards and returning them at the end.
Squads:	Set rosters of 6-10 people are required. It is recommended that squads carry an extra players or each gender. A complete field of players for each set is 6. New players can be added up until the lock date. Rosters lock on August 5th. A minimum of 3 players are required each set (handicapped games). Squads are required to field a minimum of 2 females at all times. No more than one "Top 10" player may be on the same squad: Jordan, Austin, Foster, Mantis, Earl, Ryan, Moose, Jason, Gillen, Deryck
Substitutes:	Substitute players are permitted under the following conditions: All subs must fill out waiver forms. 3 players on the roster must be present. Squads are only permitted one sub of each gender. "Top 10" players are not eligible to sub unless subbing for each other. No subs in playoffs. New permanent roster players may register up to the "lock date" if necessary.
Playoffs:	Format depends on the number of squads.
T-Shirts:	All players receive an official league t-shirt to be worn during league play. Players will not receive their shirts until they pay at least the league deposit ($5). Registered players who are not wearing their shirts must award the opposing team "penalty shots" for each missing shirt each game.
Prizes:	Trophies for the champions (each player) and qualification into the 2012 Maryland State Championships. Bar tabs for each player in the league finals (amount depends on # of squads) All squads that do not forfeit in the regular season receive a bar tab on the final week. The MVP of each squad will be awarded.
Cost:	League entry is a one time fee. Guys: $20.00 per player Ladies: $10.00 per player
