As many of you already know, a beer pong documentary was shot centered around the WSOBP II back in 2006 and 2007. Many Maryland Beer Pong teams/players are featured in the documentary including a ton of footage of the New England Steelers. Contrary to most publications and journalistic pieces out there about beer pong, this documentary actually attempts to capture beer pong as a serious sport and does not try to highlight the negative, which is why it is highly recommended by us.
'Last Cup' is going to have a screening, at the New York United Film Festival on Friday, September 5th. To view the trailer, please visit: BPONG.COM.
To buy tickets or to get more information, please visit: http://www.nyunitedfest.com. There will be a group of Marylanders making the trip up to NYC, if you are interested in joining, please email me at austin@mdbeerpong.com. | |

It was a wild and crazy Summer League Championships last night in Federal Hill. The tournament was full of upsets and comebacks making it exciting up until the final shot. For the second straight year, Wet Ballz claimed the title after entering the tournament as the #1 seed. They managed this feat despite only appearing together in two league nights although they did earn a 28-2 record on those nights. They were defeated in the winners bracket final by the eventual runners-up, Who's In Your Mouth, which forced a best 2 out of 3 finals match-up. Just Give Up Now took third place over Team Miller Time, both of whom had to battle out of the losers bracket and win their way back into contention. Fresh off of an Atlantic City weekend, the Lan Hammers somehow managed to stumble into the top 5 with a win over Irish I Were Drunk who barely missed a trip to the finals. The seventh and eighth place match went to Chug Life who defeated 4 Sale!. The complete results will be posted shortly on the tournament page. Thanks to all the participants of this year's Federal Hill Summer League. Wet Ballz wins over Who's In Your Mouth?
