Guess who's back...back again. A-Train's back...call some men.
It's been a while. It feels good to be ramping up the 2010 beer pong season. Unless you've been buried under three feet of snow, you know that the first ever Coed Charity Tournament is tonight. That will be everyone's first chance at earning some points towards the State Rankings.
As the unofficial historian of Maryland Beer Pong, I am reminded of some of the great coed team performances in the 5 years spanned by MDBP. Let's take a look, shall we?
It's been almost 2 weeks since the World Series of Beer Pong and I'm almost recovered. I'm not 100% yet, but well enough to fire up another edition of the Woodshed. Today I'll be sharing with you my favorite World Series memories, discussing a potential new ranking system, and of course the woodshedding.
Although you always hope for more when your team comes up short, Maryland represented pretty well this year. We only had one team in the top 8, but had 3 in the top 16 and 5 in the top 32. MDBP qualified 16 teams for the final...
Hey there! The A-Train is checking in after a short hiatus from blogging. Usually, you can set your watch to the regularity of The Woodshed, but after States, my cruise, a wedding in St Louis, etc., I had very little time to get it done. Welcome to the Maryland State Beer Pong Championships™ edition of The Woodshed. I literally can't wait until the all-time greatest tournament on Maryland soil kicks off this Saturday in Laurel. After some minor bracket tweaks this year, it looks like we have the final version barring any unforeseen changes. It's shaping up to be one hell of a bracket.
This year will be a little different than last year and the years before that. Not only will this year's bracket be filled with a full 64 teams, but the winner's bracket will be comprised of a best 2 out of...
Welcome to the twelfth edition of The Woodshed. I can't believe how fast the year is going. November has been a blur. We've completed the last doubles tournament of the year which sets the stage for the 2009 Maryland State Beer Pong Championships™. Since this is "Friday Blog", I didn't have enough time to give you all an in-depth look into the tournament bracket since the last tournament was Wednesday night and Thursday night was consumed by Kickball playoffs. I'll have my State Championships analysis next week.
This week I'm fitting in a blog topic I've wanted to do...
