Toe Jam and Earl

It was a beautiful weekend at the Barnyard. The sun was shining. The ground was soaking up the much-needed precipitation from the past week’s rain. The Barn Animal’s only worry was figuring out something to write about for the Tuesday Morning Bring-Back and thinking of an excuse for missing another deadline.

I had resigned myself to thinking of original ways to poke fun at the usual suspects. Luckily, the blinking red light on my cell phone foreshadowed tales of betrayal, cheating, controversy, violence and celebrity sightings. No, it wasn’t my weekly 90210 updates. It was just another weekend in Maryland...

Week 3 of the College Park Spring League was full of excitement with intense beer pong games, legendary basketball players, and bans from bars. On top for the week and tied at 1st place in the league is Triscuits and Biscuits going 13-2. Behind them at 12-3 on the week were Carlton Banks and Projectile Dysfunction. And at 10-5...
The finals of the Reisterstown State Qualifier pitted former team mates against one another for the championship. It was Sean and Mitch of We're Going Overtime taking on Shawn and Joey of Results May Vary. The championship went to Results May Vary as Joey completed his Reisterstown 3-peat (video). On their 1-year beer pong anniversary, the Midnight Meat Train overcame a first round loss to take third place honors. The fourth place finishers were Fuck Duke who qualified for their 5th straight State Championship. The 5th and 6th place match was won by Shenanigans who defeated Redonkulous...
Week 3 of the Bethesda Spring League had a very polar finish with 4 teams going 11-4 and no other double digit winners. Those four teams were Triscuits and Biscuits, Chugsters, Carlton Banks, and Wee Bey Nuggets. For the complete results on the week, check out the league page.
Week 2 of the Canton Spring League belonged to the Winter League champs, Wet Ballz, who went 13-2 with the triumphant return of the team's ace Jamie. It came down to the final match of the evening for Random White Guy who finished the night at 12-3 for the night's second best record. Behind them was Ballz Deep at 11-4 along with the league's new leaders: Dixie Normous (11-4). The other double digit winners were I Like It Raw, Chug Life, and Who's In Your Mouth? all at 10-5. Check out the complete results on the...

Reports of the Tuesday Morning Bring-Back’s demise have been greatly exaggerated.

It was Spring Break last week at the Barnyard and the Barn Animal was enjoying his time off from his weekly Bring-Back duties. I would have had the blog posted earlier today, but I was too busy playing overtime games of beer pong. It’s so easy to go into overtime now.

Rest assured, though. The Barn Animal is back and better than ever. I hope you had fun hitting your refresh button for the last two weeks. So without further ado, let’s get it on.

The Carroll County Triple...
Week 2 of the Bethesda Spring League resulted in a strong race for 1st place as Who's In Your Mouth? went 12-3, maintaining their first place spot. The only other double digit teams on the week were Triscuits and Biscuits and Carlton Banks, both at 11-4. There are still spots open if teams are interested in joining the league. For the complete results for week 2 visit the league page.

Who's In Your Mouth? (12-3)
The 2009 Canton Spring League kicked off last night at Canton Station. Maybe it was the $1 Natty Bohs or maybe just destiny, but The Pong Show is the league's early front-runner with a 12-3 record on opening night. This was despite a rough 0-2 start to the league's current 2nd place team, Dixie Normous (11-4) who will be the RPI leader entering week 2. Right behind them was Who's In Your Mouth? (11-4) and the reunion of last Spring's champions, Get Mitch Or Die Tryin' (11-4). The only other double digit winner was the newly formed Ram Dixon (10-5)....

Along with the overall satisfaction of beating everyone, Rob will receive a $50 bar tab for Nobles. Just behind the champ in the standings was Michael of One Night in Austin with 138 points, followed by Kyle of Cream Your Jeans with 134 points. Thanks to everyone who played!
