A wet and wild May wrapped up this past weekend and the results from the May Players' Poll are in. Wet Ballz continued their run as #1 in the peoples' hearts which started in December of last year. During the month of May Wet Ballz got back to their winning ways with victories at the Federal Hill WBPT Atlantic City Qualifier and the Canton Spring League Championships tallying a 13-1 record on the month. The State's #1 ranked Who's In Your Mouth? earned the #2 spot in the polls with place showings in all five tournaments they competed in including...

It was a great night of beer pong action at Mad River on Thursday. 4 Sale! battled through the consolation bracket to face the mighty Bango and Splash. In a two game finals Bango and Splash finally clinched their first ever tournament win in a double overtime thriller. Congratulations to third place Fuali, 4th place What, What? In the Cup, 5th place Flatballers, and 6th place Just Give Up Now. Check out the full bracket on the tournament page.

Bango and Splash takes home the championship
The Mantis guaranteed victory in the Canton Spring League Championships but he didn't count on the perfect game that Wet Ballz shot in the championship finals. The result was Wet Ballz' first ever Spring League Championship after defeating the defending champs, Get Mitch Or Die Tryin', in both the winner's bracket finals and for the championship. In 3rd place was the #3 seeded Random White Guy who defeated the #13 seeded Toe Jam and Earl who ended up in 4th place. The fifth and sixth place match featured #4 seeded Dixie Normous who defeated #5 seeded Who's In...
Thanks to everyone who came out for today's MS Charity Tournament. America's Most Wanted took home the championship after a first round loss. They defeated What, What? In the Cup whose only two losses came to the eventual champs. The Flatballers took home the 3rd place honors after losing a close contest in the winner's bracket finals followed by 4 Sale! who finished in 4th. In the 5th and 6th place contest, No Business defeated Can't Hit Cups. Check out the complete results on the tournament page. Thanks to everyone who helped us raise over $750 towards the...

Week 7 of the Bethesda Spring League was the deciding factor in the league rankings to see who would finish up in the top seeds. Who's In Your Mouth? decided not to show, having already clenched the 1st place title for the league's regular season. Carlton Banks went 13-2 clenching 2nd place in the league. At 11-4 on the week was The Odd Couple finishing up in 4th place. Finishing in 6th place was Mouth Plow Allstars who went 10-5 on the week. For the complete results for week 7, check out the league page.

Carlton Banks (13-2)
Although Get Mitch Or Die Tryin' has already clinched the Canton Spring League, all the other teams were jockeying for a better seed in the League Championship Tournament. Three teams accomplished this mission in 14-1 performances. The first to finish was Dixie Normous whose only lost came to the Simple Life. Next was Wet Ballz who suffered a loss to WILDCARD but will end up in 2nd place overall. Finally, it was Random White Guy whose only blemish came against We Drop Bombs. Other double digit winners were WILDCARD and Ballz Deep who both finished 11-2...

This weekend marked the 134th running of the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico. On the same track that Seabiscuit beat War Admiral in the “Match of the Century” 70 years ago, Rachel Alexandra became the first filly to win the Preakness in 85 years on Saturday. Despite the historic outcome, the Preakness suffered its lowest attendance in more than 20 years.

A day later in College Park, the self-proclaimed “Seabiscuit” of Maryland Beer Pong, Austin Lanham, won his first league with new teammate Foster. Maryland’s “Dream Team” almost became a total nightmare, missing last cup in the second finals game...

The College Park Spring League came to a close tonight with a somewhat predictable finish to say the least. There were not many surprises in store as the top four teams in the league were also the top four teams in the tournament. There is little argument that the strongest partnership in Maryland Beer Pong right now is between Sean F. and Austin Lanham. Taking first place during the regular season, they had their eyes set on the gold and they came out victorious. After losing in the quarterfinals to Epsilon 7, Projectile Dysfunction made its way through...

It was a wild night at Nobles with most of Maryland's top teams vying for the last free spot in June's Atlantic City Championship. After a month long layoff, Wet Ballz has returned to the winner's circle after they defeated Carlton Banks in the finals to secure the victory. It was a bitter pill to take for Carlton Banks who won the winner's bracket final over Wet Ballz only to lose the rematch series for the championship (video: game 1 and game 2). The two brothers from Carroll County, McAllister, finished in the money with their 3rd...

Tonight is your last chance to win a free trip to Atlantic City for the World Beer Pong Tour's Atlantic City Championship. Just on the off chance that your team doesn't win it's way for free, I've just been informed that all Maryland Beer Pong teams will receive 5% rebates when they register for the tournament and/or hotel stay. Tournament entry (including tournament beer) is only $200 per person and hotel packages start at an extra $175 per person. Not only that, but if you play under the MD Beer Pong banner, you'll receive a free MDBP logo t-shirt...
