Balls were flying in Gaithersburg Saturday night at the Gaithersburg Summer 2010 State Qualifier. the 26 teams spread narrowed down to an exciting finish as Bait and Switch come from the losers bracket finals to take on Hand Full of Ass, beating them twice to take home the gold. In 3rd place were the Chugsters followed by Desperado and the Clank in 4th place. After three weeks of the Federal Hill Summer League we finally have a clear cut leader as the Smoking Aces broke their first place tie with Nanticoke Street with an 11-1 performance. Also at 11-1 was Kong Henry with A-Train hobbling back into the starting line up after coming off the DL. There were a lot of new faces at today's Baltimore State Qualifier at Pratt House Ale House. In the end it was Bait and Switch who came out on top with the clutch shooting of the "retired" Barn Animal (video: game 1 and game 2).The runners-up were the newly formed We'll Report the Win who won the winners bracket before losing two straight to the eventual champs.
