Perhaps the hottest player in Maryland Beer Pong at the moment, the Barn Animal, has done it again as Nanticoke Street fought its way to a 10-2 record and takes week 4 of the Federal Hill Summer League. That was enough to gain them 1 game on league leading Smoking Aces (9-3). Also at 9-3 were the Drunkenballers and That's All You Get followed by Kong Henry at 8-4. Check out the complete results on the league page.

Did someone say no water?! How the heck does 2 of the largest neighborhoods in DC run out of water, shutting down the bar we play pong at for the night? Luckily the kind folks up at Adam's Mill welcomed our homeless pongers in for a night they would never forget... Free shots for everyone! The question at the end of the night was: who is Jimmy? Ryan and Keith will tell you: Fuck Yeah Jimmy! - going 10-2 on the night. Unfortunately there were no Urinal Cakes in the stalls that night because they were on the pong tables...

Has MDBP been sent back through time via a Hot Tub Time Machine?

Welcome to the newest edition of Closing Ti...no, no. Jim and I are friends now. No more movie jokes. A couple of MDBP players have alluded to the fact that the last couple of weeks seems like they've been snatched out of the year 2008.

An entire 32-bracket tournament filled to capacity? - I guess I can buy that since every player got a pint of beer for each game. Especially since the beer was a delicious brew from the Pratt Street Ale House. Having beer included...

There were a lot of new faces at today's Baltimore State Qualifier at Pratt House Ale House. In the end it was Bait and Switch who came out on top with the clutch shooting of the "retired" Barn Animal (video: game 1 and game 2).The runners-up were the newly formed We'll Report the Win who won the winners bracket before losing two straight to the eventual champs. In 3rd place was Santiago & Dunbar and in 4th place was Pow Pow Power Wheels. In 5th place match it was One Night in Austin who defeated Your GF's So...

"I forgot the waiver forms at the bar but I have $120 for Brett's team and another team that signed up." - Me

"No problem...got scorecards? I really appreciate your help" - Austin

Ah, yes. Have you guys seen the results from Week 2 of the Federal Hill league, yet? Of course you haven't. Austin, who is currently on the sidelines after going under the knife last week, asked if I would help with the league this week since he was incapacitated and the person tasked with running things that week, Stacelynn's Boo, was AWOL. I was supposed to...
