| Recap: | The Washington, DC Summer League came to an exciting close in the nation's capital. Hearts were broken, underdogs were triumphant, and legends were made. Taking home the gold in the first ever DC league was DMX who won the final match by 8 cups over 2nd place rookies Hitchhikin' Home (video) who rumors have it, run the DC beer pong scene at another bar in DC. In third place was rookie team John Wilkes Booze which also featured one of the highest tournament placings for a woman in MDBP tournament history. In 4th place was veteran team No Business who came into the tournament as the number 2 seed. And in 5th place was Baby Banks who came into the tournament as the number 1 seed and hoped to be the first girl/guy team to ever win a MDBP tournament until their dreams were shattered early on by John Wilkes Booze.
