| Recap: | The Summer Washington, DC 1-on-1 Tournament was one of the most heated battles this summer for beer pong. Winning his second 1-on-1 tournament of the year, Sean Foster swept through the winner's bracket and came out 1 cup ahead of second place Steph Bertrand (video) who started out in the loser's bracket after a first round forfeit. In third place was the Mantis who had an impressive run in the winners bracket before being squashed by both Foster and Steph. In 4th place was DC's very own Jeff Gillen. The 5th-6th place match deciding the last qualifying spot for States was won by Tom Zink over Justin Schreier, rounding out the top finishers.
